This is one of my original river scene drawings inspired by the Medina River that is close to where I live on the Isle of Wight. This is an original work of art created in artist ink and oil based pencil and features a heron trying to catch a fish in the water. The drawing is framed in a dark wood effect frame. The complete artwork, including frame, measures 20 x 25 cm (8 x 10 inches). The frame has metal hanging bar on the back so that the artwork can hang on a wall.
 
I’m based on the Isle of Wight and I’m constantly inspired by the nature around me – riverbanks, sea birds, and peaceful wild spaces. This piece was drawn with all of that in mind and would be a perfect gift for nature lovers, bird watchers and anyone looking for a thoughtful handmade gift.
